Mara offers services to women in centres and in community across Queensland and is a women centred, trauma informed, innovative and culturally safe program. We are reliable, accountable and determined to help women on their path to change.
Mara can assist you by referring & linking to a range of services & support including:
- Individual reintegration planning
- Referral to bail support programs
- Support with after hours release
- Education, training and employment & services
- Accessing ID, banks, Medicare
- Referrals to accommodation providers & services
- Practical life skills & self-care
- Providing links to specialist support services such as Domestic, family & sexual violence, drug and alcohol services, mental health services, and family support programs
